I’ve just installed WordPress 2.8 Beta 2 on this blog to give it a try and everything seems to be working smoothly. I’ve already blogged about the features I like in WordPress 2.8 and I think this drop is going to be a winner.
The more I use WordPress, the happier I get that I’ve selected [...] Continue reading

Image via Wikipedia
WordPress 2.8 Beta 1 has been running on this blog for a few days now and everything seems to be running just nicely. There are a whole list of changes that made it into this release. Here are my favourite improvements:
New Theme Installer routines
Add CodePress syntax highlighting to Theme and Plugin editors
Add Documentation(function) [...] Continue reading
Manic Thursday in the Isle of Man
I’ve got a “fun day” packed with events tomorrow, which may be of interest to some of my readers; well, if you’re based in the the Isle of Man anyway.
Social Media Club (Third Thursday) – There’s a whopper of an event focusing on eDemocracy by Simon Collister, a Manx-born social media guru whose areas of [...] Continue reading
WordPress 2.8 Beta 1
I’ve just installed WordPress v2.8 Beta 1 on this blog to see what the new release is going to look like. I haven’t had time to explore the changes yet, the UI looks pretty similar to 2.7, and I haven’t really caught on on the release notes. I’m hoping that there are some nice finishing [...] Continue reading
